- The KEY to survival is to take charge, to lead, to
- work with new rather than established enterprises, to
- help others, to preserve dignity and individuality, to
- act upon things immediately but with a worked out plan,
- to develop personal strengths, to monitor personal
- health, to keep active.
- AVOID: extremes of emotions, advice from others
- overwhelming and dominating those nearby, egotism,
- confiding too much in others, acting without a plan,
- clinging to people and things, heroics.*

- The KEY to survival is cooperation, working in
- harmony with others, preserving peace and equilibrium,
- influencing others, remaining sincere, keeping a sense
- of humour, faith, creative outlets, relying on senses
- and intuition, graciousness, charm, tact.
- AVOID: fear of the opinions of others, self
- criticism, nervous habits, extremism, paranoia, being
- oversensitive, paranoia, outspokenness, psychosomatic
- illness.*

- The KEY to survival is creativity, sensitivity to
- self, daring, amusing and cheering others, quick wits,
- self determination, cheerfulness, lasting friendships,
- honesty, trusting dreams and visions, generosity.
- AVOID: selfishness, carelessness, one-sidedness,
- extravagance, misplaced trust, bad temper,
- indifference, giving up too soon, repressed creativity,
- feelings of inferiority on one hand and inflated
- self-importance on the other.*

- The KEY to survival is practicality, realistic
- vision, organization, putting ideas and dreams into
- form, merging fantasy with reality, order, a nurturing
- patience, courage, challenging work, keeping busy,
- long-range planning, level-headedness, stability.
- AVOID: bossiness, rigidity, refusing blame,
- superiority complex, overwork and obsession, severity,
- being held back by others, bad eating habits (stomach
- problems), retreating from social contact.*

- The KEY to survival is versatility, variety, quick
- wits, cleverness, newness, change, challenges, freedom,
- curiosity, social contact, tolerance, progressiveness,
- maintaining roots.
- AVOID: ingratitude, disregard of others, not giving
- credit when it is due, impermanence, folly, sarcasm,
- monotony,plodding, glibness, worry, gambling,
- bragging.*

- The KEY to survival is the family, the home, love,
- wholesomeness, honesty, peace, harmony, a strong sense
- of duty, humanitarianism, reverence toward spiritual
- truths and ideals, patience, nurturing, generosity.
- AVOID: foolish sacrifice, blindness in love,
- inaccurate self image, inconsistent generosity,
- throwing stones while living in a glass house,
- sordidness, overzealous meddling, all or nothing
- attitude, not practising what is preached,
- self-righteousness.*

- The KEYS to survival are inner maturity, inner truth,
- serenity, understanding the hidden realities,
- meditative periods of isolation, self control, reason,
- stoicism, faith in others, search for knowledge,
- intuition, specialization, education.
- AVOID: skepticism, over-emotionalism, withdrawal
- from others, not expressing love and other emotions,
- repressing inner drives, rankling at questions,
- confusing environments, ambiguities.*

- The KEYS to survival are hard work, striking a
- balance between the spiritual and the material,
- objectivity, stability, efficiency,struggle,
- trustworthiness, teaching, helping, self reliance,
- mental/physical balance.
- AVOID: resting when there is work to be done and
- working when it is time to rest, nervousness, putting
- up a front, coldness, intolerance, impatience,
- revenge.*
- Survival # 9.

- The KEYS to survival are compassion, universal
- truths, respecting greater realities over personal
- realities, loving wisely and well, impersonal
- (universal) love, remaining true to laws based on
- ideals, inner growth, selflessness, taking
- responsibility, generosity, searching for principles,
- dreaming, originality.
- AVOID: possessiveness, personal gain at the expense
- of others, timidity, passiveness, pessimism, lack of
- direction, vacillation, shyness.*
